Elise Yee Ling TAN

Elise Tan joined Vertex Ventures in 2021 and focuses on Communications and Community.

Prior to joining Vertex, she was the VP for investor relations and partnerships at Longhash Ventures, a global blockchain fund backed by Fenbushi and Hashkey Capital. She previously led and built up the investor relations team at Entrepreneur First across Singapore, Hong Kong and India. In 2011, she started the Singapore Chapter of Startup Leadership Program, a not for profit accelerator program, and has been actively supporting the Asian startup ecosystem. Outside of work, she runs the Asia Startup Network, which organises startup community driven and charity fundraising events, Mentor For Hope and Makan For Hope.

She first started her career in the corporate world, at Citibank and then Procter and Gamble.

Elise holds a MBA from INSEAD, a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from NUS and a minor in Technopreneurship from University of Pennsylvania. She is also an alumna of the NUS Overseas College program.
