𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 VVSEAI 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: Jiaxi

We're excited to share our "𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 VVSEAI 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺" series to introduce the wonderful, multi-faceted talent we have in the Vertex Ventures SEA & India! For the month of January, we would like to introduce our colleague Jiaxi based in Singapore.

1.What did you do before Vertex and what did you study?

Before joining Vertex Ventures, I worked across corporate and venture capital roles, focusing on cross-border investments in consumer technology, fintech, AI, and digital assets. My experience spans supporting companies from early stage to growth, working with founders on strategic direction and execution priorities across Asia and global markets.

2. What are the things you most enjoy about working at Vertex SEA & India?

What I enjoy most about Vertex is the collaborative and highly supportive team culture. The platform brings together diverse perspectives across SEA and India, creating an environment where ideas are thoughtfully challenged and teams are aligned around a shared commitment to building sustainable companies alongside founders.

3. Tell us something we didn't know that you do outside of work.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through sports, particularly golf and snowboarding. Staying active helps me maintain balance, build resilience, and sustain long-term focus, which I find essential in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
