𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 VVSEAI 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: Vania Yobeli Meghan

We're excited to share our "𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 VVSEAI 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺" series to introduce the wonderful, multi-faceted talent we have in the Vertex Ventures SEA & India! For the month of April, we would like to introduce our colleague Vania Yobeli Meghan based in Indonesia.

1.What did you do before Vertex and what did you study?

I started my professional journey at Deloitte Melbourne, Australia as a Forensic Investigator. Due to visa requirements, I couldn’t extend my career in Australia and returned permanently to Indonesia. I continued my journey at Deloitte Indonesia and then joined PT Bukalapak Tbk. as Head of Financial Integrity before joining Vertex. I studied Accounting at Monash University, Melbourne.

2. What is one thing you most enjoy about working at Vertex?

I really like the exposure and learning opportunities at Vertex. Since venture capital is a new area for me, I enjoy attending meetings with potential portfolio companies, listening to their projections, and learning how the investment team works.

3. Tell us something we didn't know that you do outside of work.

Outside of work, I really enjoy trying new foods and exploring coffee spots in town, and I also like to play with my corgi. I love traveling and exploring new cultures, food, and scenery.
