Ram BALASUBRAMANIAN

Ram Balasubramanian joined Vertex Ventures India office in 2023. Prior to joining Vertex, Ram was the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at Quesscorp Limited, a leading general staffing and business services company in India with a topline of over $2 billion. Prior to Quesscorp, Ram held various roles from corporate investigation to business development. He was the Chief of Staff at Rainshine Entertainment, managing business operations and conducting financial analysis.  A Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Star India Private Ltd (currently known as Disney India). Ram was also a Fraud Investigator at KPMG India and a Compliance Assistant Manager at Siemens where he conducted investigations and prepared investigation reports.

Ram is a certified Chartered Accountant from Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has completed certification course on Strategic Planning from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. As part of his experience, he has worked in unique investigation projects and worked closely with the leadership team in bidding for the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) Media Rights for Star Network.
